First preview and opening scene of an animated short film I'm working on. More to come later, I'm kinda writing and producing as I go along. The story develops as the creative process does, so to speak :-) Some production notes: Scenes and animation created in Daz|Studio Composited and edited in Ulead videostudio Sound and score created in FL Studio (The Three Stoooodios) 8 days of about 8 to 10 hours each (march 4 thru 11) roughly broken down into: - 4 days for setting up and rigging the scenes, clothing, placing and animating the characters, lights(3) and cameras(8) - 1 day for texturing - 2 days for rendering each animation at 640*360 pixels, I originally wanted to do this in HD, but my pc just isn't up to the challenge(nor are my nerves). Each second of animation has 25 frames which had to be output individually to preserve the alpha channel (transparency), for easier compositing. This includes test-renders and screwups :-) - 1 day for compositing and rendering the final scenes, voices(text-to-speech apps), sound fx and score
